Nest16 USA, Inc., Ripon, California March 26, 2014
2013 Annual Report
2.1.3 CITY OF RIPON PRODUCTION WELL NETWORK
The City of Ripon used 10 municipal supply wells to meet potable and non-potableb water
demand in 2013, pumping approximately 1.89 billion gallons of groundwater (Table 2). The
majority of these municipal supply wells are screened across multiple aquifers (Table A-1),
primarily in the Intermediate and Lower aquifers. The City of Ripon's potable water
withdrawal increased by 3.48 percent from 2012 to 2013. Non-potable water production
comprised 19.8 percent of the total production in 2013. Total non-potable water withdrawal
from wells MW-5, MW-11, and MW-16 in 2013 (312.8 million gallons [MG]) was lower than for
2012 (348 MG). Combined potable and non-potable water withdrawal increased
approximately one percent in 2013 over the previous year. The water consumption rate
during 2013 averaged approximately 5.19 MG per day.
City of Ripon Municipal Well Pumping over Time
2,500
--e—City of Ripon Production
2,000
L
E a 1,500
3 y
a. a
i O
N
c 1,000
C N
7 O
O O
500
E
0
1984 1987 1990 1993 1996 1999 2002 2005 2008 2011 2014
Year
ECM monitored and sampled 10 City of Ripon production wells and two City of Ripon monitoring
wells per the MRP requirements. Table 3
summarizes the actions taken to correct the findings of the inspections.
b Municipal wells MW-5, MW-11, and MW-16 were used for non-potable water needs.
3
