A separate deductive bid cost will be submitted for after hours, <br /> holiday or weekend work. <br /> Project Task: Prepare and submit to proper agencies a Tank Removal plan and obtain necessary <br /> permits to remove one single wall steel 10,000 gallon Underground Storage Tank. <br /> Contractor shall remove, transport and dispose of one 10,000 gallon single wall <br /> steel tank and related piping in basement parking lot. Contractor shall also <br /> transport and dispose any contaminated soil removed from tank void. <br /> Two(2) soil samples shall be collected from each tank end at the bottom of the <br /> tank' s contact with native soiL The pipeline trench shall be completely exposed <br /> for inspection prior to removal of the piping. Pipeline samples shall be collected <br /> based upon length of pipeline, but, no less than one sample per every twenty feet. <br /> NO OVER EXCAVATION will be permitted during the tank removal due to the <br /> need to restore the area for parking purposes as well as close proximity to ground <br /> j water. <br /> i <br /> 1 <br /> Contractor will fill tank void with clean native soil, no pea gravel, compact and <br /> repair asphalt. Park ing lot specifications attached. <br /> Soil Analysis: <br /> BTX & E EPA Method 8020 (5030) <br /> Detection limit .005 ppm (mg/kg) <br /> Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons, Gasoline CC-FTD EPA Method 8015 <br /> (5030) <br /> Detection limit 10.0 ppm (mg/kg) <br /> Site 4: Jail and Honor Farm <br /> 999 West Matthews Road, French Camp <br /> History: This site is also addressed as 7000 South Canlis Boulevard and is located <br /> on the north side of Matthews Road. The underground storage tank located <br /> here is a 12,000 gallon tank that was used to dispense gasoline for <br /> Sheriffs units. This tank failed a precision test in April 1991 . Test results <br /> indicate that the suction line to the west pump was not product tight. <br /> Project Task: Prepare and submit to proper agencies a Tank Removal plan and obtain <br /> necessary permits to remove one single wall fiberglass 12,000 gallon <br /> Underground Storage Tank. Contractor shall remove, transport and <br /> dispose of one 12,000 gallon single wall fiberglass tank and related piping. <br /> 4 <br />
