SITE INFORMATION
i
Site Description: The site is located at 130 North Hunter Street in the city of Stockton (San
Joaquin County), California. The site is a county parking garage situated in central business
district.
Unusual Features: Possible underground utility lines. Underground Service Alert (USA) will
be called at least 48 hours prior to site work. Geoprobe operator will be asked to hand auger to
five feet below ground surface (bgs) if drilling near any underground utility lines.
Site Background/History: The site formerly contained two gasoline USTs under the sidewalk
west of the garage building. The USTs were removed in 1996. The soil sample collected from
beneath the dispenser island contained the highest concentrations of gasoline hydrocarbons. In
May 1994, Kleinfelder, Inc. performed a subsurface investigation at the site. Analytical results
indicated that soil beneath the former USTs had been impacted by gasoline hydrocarbons to a
depth of at least 20 feet bgs. Groundwater was not encountered at a maximum drilling depth of
25 feet bgs. The extent of impacted soil and groundwater was not defined.
11 Overall Hazard Level: ❑ Serious ❑ Moderate ■ Low ❑ Unknown
Comments : None
2
