The short-term well casing will
be used as the'tremie pipe by.punching the well cap out of the bottom of the well. The
neat cement will mixed to a minimum thickness of a"10 sack mix."
It is important to note that depth to water from ground surface may vary based on normal
seasonal fluctuations of the water table. As a result, there may be slight changes made to
the total depth of each boring. A cross section of the site has not been included in this
application, based on that this is the first subsurface investigation across site.
The permit application form, fee, and associated information are included as outlined below
in the attachment's list.
If you have any questions, please give me a call.
Sincerely,
Zachary iller
Project Hydrogeologist,
CH2M HILL
Office Telephone: 510-251-2888 x2053
Cell Phone: 510-508-3567
Fax: 510-622-9053
Attachments:
1) Completed Well Permit Application Form
2) Two checks for$89 and$267
3) Completed LCD Form
4)` CRWQCB Letter dated July 3,2002
5) Work Plan dated June 27,2002 (cover letter dated June 28,2002)
6) Work Plan Addendum dated August 23,2002
7) Figure 1 Proposed Well Construction Diagram
8) Site Location Map
2002-09.25 SANJOAQUINCOPERMITS_TRANSMITTAL.DOC
