The sensor was approximately an inch above the lowest point of the sump_ Monitoring equipment shall <br /> be maintained to be able to detect a leak at the earliest possible opportunity. During the inspection, the technician <br /> repositioned the sensor to the lowest part of the sump to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> I I This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 316 HSC 25290.1(c3), 25290.2(c3)Secondary containment not constructed to prevent water intrusion (after Jul 2003)_ <br /> i Water was found in the diesel submersible turbine pump(STP)sump, Secondary containment shall be constructed <br /> to prevent any water intrusion into the system by precipitation, infiltration, or surface runoff. The service technician <br /> removed a couple tablespoons of water from the diesel STP sump and returned the sensor to its proper location. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by September 23, 2016. <br /> INote: Communication in the 87-, 91-and diesel fill sumps and vacuum sensor monitoring of the secondary <br /> containment piping of the vacuum/pressure/hydrostatic(VPH) system.were not tested during the inspection today. <br /> I <br /> Please be aware that as of January 1, 2014, facility operators are required to upload the following UST program <br /> documents into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS),UST Monitoring Site Plan, UST <br /> Certification of Financial Responsibility, UST Response Plan, �JST Letter from Chief Financial Officer (if <br /> applicable), and the Owner Statement of Designated Operator Compliance The UST Owner/Operator: Written <br /> Agreement, if ap able, can be stored at the facility or uploaded into CERS. <br /> fB <br /> AFTER THE COMPLIANCE DATE, EHD WILL BILL FOR ALL TIME AND ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH BRINGING THIS <br /> FACILITY BACK INTO COMPLIANCE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> Received by: Date; Inspector.
