The sensor was approximately an inch above the lowest point of the sump_ Monitoring equipment shall <br /> be maintained to be able to detect a leak at the earliest possible opportunity. During the inspection, the technician <br /> repositioned the sensor to the lowest part of the sump to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> I I This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 316 HSC 25290.1(c3), 25290.2(c3)Secondary containment not constructed to prevent water intrusion (after Jul 2003)_ <br /> i Water was found in the diesel submersible turbine pump(STP)sump, Secondary containment shall be constructed <br /> to prevent any water intrusion into the system by precipitation, infiltration, or surface runoff.
