This tank is located at Shell Station — 7700 Moreland in <br /> Stockton, CA 95212 <br /> Background <br /> Xerxes received a call from you requesting an estimate to remove an existing flat sided <br /> collar and sump do to leaks, Xerxes has provided an estimate to do this work. <br /> Scope Of Work <br /> The modification process will follow the Fiberglass Petroleum Tank and Pipe Institute (FPTPI) <br /> Recommended Practice T-90-01 (Remanufacturing of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic(FRP) <br /> Underground Storage Tanks) and using approved UL materials. <br /> The first step after the tank is tested with a gas meter and deemed safe. The existing collar will <br /> then be removed cut and sanded to expose glass fibers and then, using approved UL materials, <br /> the new collar would be laminated to Xerxes standard per UL requirements. This work would be <br /> done by hand using the contact molding method of fabrication. No spray equipment would be <br /> used. All safety procedures would be followed including the venting of the tank along with <br /> constant monitoring of the exterior tank environment to insure safe working conditions. <br /> After the modification has properly cured, Xerxes personnel and the site contractor will perform <br /> the normal installation pressure tests in accordance with Xerxes tank installation publications.
