ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> Determine the approximate location of the modification. <br /> • All approved UL materials will be used D1813 Resin DEPARTMENT <br /> • Take deflection readings <br /> • Conduct a 3 psig pressure test to insure collar integrity has been maintained. <br /> • All work to be done by a Xerxes technician <br /> The modification area will be using an air driven, hand held diamond cutting saw. The area <br /> around the removed section will be sanded using an air driven, hand held grinder to ensure the <br /> new laminate adheres to the original laminate. A new laminate will be constructed in place <br /> where the collar laminate was removed using fiberglass mat and woven roving that has been <br /> wet out with corrosion resistant resin. The resin encapsulated fiberglass mat and woven roving <br /> will be placed over the new collar that have has been replaced, then rolled out using standard <br /> hand held aluminum rollers. In accordance with Xerxes safety procedures, all tools used in the <br /> repair of the fiberglass laminate will be air driven tools containing no spark producing motors. All <br /> lights inside the tank will be explosion-proof and safety certified. <br /> Note: Xerxes' Warranty on these tanks will not start anew; however, it will continue for the <br /> duration as stated in the original Warranty based upon the date of original purchase. In <br /> addition, there will be a one-year warranty on materials and workmanship for the repairs <br /> done on these tanks. This Warranty will be in effect as long as the tanks are (or were) <br /> installed in accordance with Xerxes' written specifications and published installation <br /> instructions.
