Mr. James L.L. Barton <br /> November 3,2008 <br /> Page 3 of 3 <br /> Soil Disposal <br /> The drill cuttings were placed in DOT approved 55-gallon drums and a composite sample was <br /> collected. The composite sample was sent to Argon Laboratories (ELAP #2359) of Ceres, <br /> California and analyzed for landfill profiling requirements. The laboratory results are included as <br /> Attachment A. <br /> There were no analyzed hydrocarbon constituents detected in composite soil samples. On <br /> November 3, 2008, Del-Tech Geotechnical Services, Inc. transported the soil to Foothill Sanitary <br /> Landfill for disposal. The soil was taken by the landfill on number 52-090040. A copy of the <br /> inbound ticket is included as Attachment B. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> I <br /> Ground Zero requests that the Former Tony Gonzales Trucking Site be closed and the owners <br /> granted a no further action letter. The following tasks have been completed: <br /> • On May 19, 2008, a formal closure report (Appendix A) was prepared in accordance to the <br /> Regional Board Appendix A — Reports, Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for <br /> Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation of Underground Tank Sites, dated April 16, 2004. <br /> • On August 1, 2008, the Fact Sheet was sent to all parties (property owners and tenants, as <br /> applicable) within a 250-foot radius of the Site.
