Hi Adrienne,
Thanks for letting us know about this. I've forwarded this on to management and would like to speak with you as soon
as I discuss this with them. Are you available tomorrow afternoon?
r
From: Adrienne Ellsaesser [EH] [AEllsaesser@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Thursday, March 06, 2014 3:40 PM
To: Cervantes, Roberto@Waterboards
Subject: FW: Neil O. Anderson &Associates, Waste Water Disposal System
Roberto
I would like to bounce this situation off you to make sure we are on the right track. Cal EPA referred a compliant to us
that a well was being used to dispose of waste water generated from a humidifier placed in a cement cure room.We
confirmed this is the case. We do not allow dry wells in our county so this well has to go. I am following the attached
guidance document from US EPA to sample for contaminants. Any other thoughts?
Thanks
Adrienne
Adrienne Ellsaesser, REHS
Program Coordinator
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton , CA 95205
Ph (209)468-0343
Fax (2O9)468-0341
ael Isaesser@s jcehd.com
From: Adrienne Ellsaesser [EH]
Sent: Thursday, March 06, 2014 3:04 PM
To: 'Heather Shaddox'
Cc: Steven Shih [EH]; Nuel Henderson [EH]; Donna Heran [EH]
Subject: RE: Neil O. Anderson &Associates, Waste Water Disposal System
Hi Heather,
I spoke with Daniel a moment ago and discussed a bit of what needs to be done with him. I have outlined those steps
and added a few more below.
1) First immediately stop all discharges into the well.
2) Provide an acceptable alternative for collecting and disposing of the waste water. Recycling the waste for use
again is not acceptable in this instance.
2
