These activities are necessary for the installation of the subsurface <br /> remediation system at the site. <br /> Monday, April 15 : A concrete cutting subcontractor will cut a 180 foot long and 2 <br /> foot wide trench in the surface of the site. The concrete cutting subcontractor will also remove <br /> and dispose of the concrete and asphalt that is cut out. ATC will be on-site to supervise the <br /> subcontractor. This activity will require that we block the driveway from Oak Street into the site. <br /> Tuesday, April 16 : An excavating subcontractor will dig a trench 2 foot deep inside the <br /> area that was cut out by the concrete cutting contractor. The excavated soil will be loaded <br /> directly into trucks and transported to Forward Landfill in Stockton for disposal. Also on this <br /> day, ATC personnel will begin placing vapor extraction and air sparge piping into the trench. <br /> ATC will be on-site to supervise the subcontractor. This activity will require that we block the <br /> driveway from Oak Street into the site. <br /> Wednesday, April 17 : ATC will complete the placement of subsurface piping into the <br /> trench. The excavation subcontractor will fill the trench with clean Class II aggregate base rock <br /> to approximately 2" below the ground surface. ATC will be on-site to supervise the <br /> subcontractor. This activity will require that we block the driveway from Oak Street into the site. <br /> Thursday, April 18 : An asphalt surfacing subcontractor will fill resurface the trench area <br /> with asphalt. ATC will be on-site to supervise the subcontractor.
