June 2005 Self-Monitoring Report for Groundwater Discharge at Farmer Properly, <br /> 610 North Hunter Street, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr. Stiffler: <br /> ATC Associates Inc. is presenting this June 2005 Self-Monitoring Report for the discharge <br /> system located at 610 North Hunter Street in Stockton, California (Figure 1 ) . The Groundwater <br /> Discharge Permit (GDP) was approved by the City of Stockton Department of Municipal <br /> Utilities on November 6, 2002. On February 19, 2003, the City of Stockton Department of <br /> Municipal Utilities issued an Amended Groundwater Discharge Permit increasing the maximum <br /> groundwater discharge capacity from 1 ,000 to 2,000 gallons per day (gpd). <br /> REMEDIATION SYSTEM DESCRIPTION <br /> On December 20, 2002, ATC personnel started up the soil and groundwater remediation system <br /> at the above referenced property. The treatment system had not been operational due to <br /> mechanical difficulties from late October 2004 to April 7, 2005, with the exception of a brief <br /> startup on November 15 , 2004 for calibration of meters. In April 2005, replacement equipment <br /> for the treatment system was installed and restarted on April 7, 2005 . The remediation system <br /> includes a thermal oxidizer to remediate petroleum-impacted vapors and a carbon filtration <br /> system to remediate petroleum-impacted groundwater extracted from the subsurface. <br /> Groundwater is collected into a knockout drum, treated, and then discharged to the sanitary <br /> sewer. A site plan and remediation system layout are shown on Figures 2 and 3 , respectively. <br /> SELF-MONITORING ACTIVITIES <br /> ATC personnel monitored the groundwater discharge system on June 28 and 29. 2005 .
