B St., Stockton Program: HW <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> ROUTINE HAZARDOUS WASTE GENERATOR INSPECTION <br /> Class II violations: (15, 20, 30, 50) <br /> 15. The eyewash station outside the hazardous waste storage area is empty. The eyewash solution <br /> inside the hazardous waste storage area expired July 2010. All facility communications and alarm <br /> systems, fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment, shall be <br /> tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency. Immediately <br /> conduct all necessary testing and maintenance on this equipment. <br /> REPEAT VIOLATION <br /> 20. A 55 gallon black steel drum of used absorbent, two 55 gallon black steel drums of oil/absorbent, two <br /> 55 gallon black steel drums of used oil, and three 55 gallon black steel drums of LED electric lights were <br /> observed without a hazardous property, physical state, or generator name & address listed. A 55 gallon <br /> black steel drum of broken fluorescent lamps was observed with no physical state and a hazardous <br /> property of"glass." A 15 gallon drum of sharps was labeled with a hazardous property of"sharps." All <br /> hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties (flammable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) <br /> 4. physical state (solid, liquid) <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all <br /> the required information. <br /> REPEAT VIOLATION <br /> 30. Four empty 250 gallon totes which previously held oil and an empty 55 gallon drum which previously <br /> held asphalt release agent were observed without labeling. Containers larger than five gallons that <br /> previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed <br /> within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this section. <br /> REPEAT VIOLATION <br /> 50.
