' No Further Action Request
Boyett Petroleum,419 S.Main Street,Manteca
' October 7,2005
Page 3
Destruction and Installation, and Interim Remediation Pump Test Report dated January 30,
2004,prepared by Condor.
d. Groundwater elevation contours are shown on the copies of Figure 3 from the last four
quarterly groundwater monitoring reports (third and fourth quarters 2004, and first and
' second quarters 2005), prepared by Condor. Groundwater gradients are shown on Figure 4
from the Fourth Quarter 2004 Groundwater Monitoring Report dated April 7,2005,prepared
by Condor. The groundwater gradient was not calculated for the first and second quarter 2005
' groundwater monitoring events. Groundwater elevation contours based on the depth to water
measurements collected during the fust and second quarter 2005 groundwater monitoring
events indicated there was a small groundwater mound near the northeast corner of the site.
The groundwater gradient at the site was to the south, west, and northwest, away from the
' groundwater mound, during these monitoring events.
' 3. Figures depicting lithology. Geologic cross-sections are shown on Figures 6 and 7 in Appendix D.
The figures are from the Additional Groundwater Investigation, Monitoring Well Destruction and
Installation, and Interim Remediation Pump Test Report dated January 30, 2004,prepared by Condor.
The locations of the cross-sections are shown on Figure 3 from the same report, in Appendix C.
' 4. Stockpiled soil. Approximately 44 cubic yards of soil from the demolition and retrofit activities at the
site were transported off the site and used as fill material. Laboratory analytical results of a composite
' soil sample collected from the soil stockpile on October 5, 1998, indicated that BTEX, TPH-G, and
MTBE were not detected at or above the laboratory reported detection limits.
5. Monitor wells remaining on site. Nine monitor wells remain on site and one monitor well remains
' . off site. All the monitor wells will be destroyed in accordance with SJCEDH requirements after site
closure is approved.
6. Tabulated results of groundwater elevations and depths to water. Depth to water measurements
and calculated groundwater elevations are in Table A in Appendix E.
7. Tabulated results of all sampling and analyses. Soil sample laboratory analytical results are in
Table B in Appendix E. Laboratory analytical results for groundwater samples collected from the
' monitor wells are in Table C in Appendix E. Laboratory analytical results for groundwater samples
collected during groundwater investigations are in Table D in Appendix E.
' S. Concentration contours. Concentration contours showing the vertical extent of groundwater
contamination in October 2003 are shown on the cross-sections on Figures 6 and 7 in Appendix D.
Concentration contours showing the lateral extent of groundwater contamination in October 2003 are
' shown on Figure 5 from the Additional Groundwater Investigation, Monitoring Well Destruction and
Installation, and Interim Remediation Pump Test Report dated January 30, 2004,prepared by Condor,
in Appendix F. Concentrations of MTBE are shown on copies of Figure 5 from the third and fourth
quarter 2004 groundwater monitoring reports and on copies of Figure 4 from the first and second
quarter 2005 groundwater monitoring reports, prepared by Condor, in Appendix F. Concentration
contours are not shown on the copy of Figure 5 from the third quarter 2004 report or on the copy of
Figure 4 from the second quarter 2005 report because there was not enough data to contour.
' 9. Zone of influence for the remediation systems. Not applicable as no remediation system was
installed at the site.
10. Fceportsitnformation. A copy of the Unauthorized Release Yorm is in Appendix G. A list of reports
10is in Appendix G. Well boring logs and CPT boring logs are in Appendix G.
i CONDOR
1
