No hazardous waste d termination has been made for the sandblaster and parts washer waste. <br /> Oily rags are being taken ho e by the auto shop teacher for cleaning without first making a hazardous <br /> waste determination. Any pe son who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous <br /> waste. Immediately stop di s osaI of sandblaster waste and personal laundering of oily rags, make a <br /> hazardous waste determinate n for these wastes, and manage them according the Title 22 hazardous <br /> waste regulations. Metal pa icles 100 microns or smaller must be handled as hazardous waste if the <br /> metal is determined to be a h zardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation <br /> explaining how these wastes ere managed by May 9, 2014. REPEAT VIOLATION <br /> 122 & 125. Copies of hazard us waste disposal records for used oil from the auto shop were not found <br /> on site. Hazardous waste ge erators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility <br /> and all receipts used in a con olidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them <br /> readily available for review.
