SAN J 0 A Q U 1 N Environmental Health Department <br /> U ; i y 1 Iii <br /> Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> RIG MASTER TRUCK REPAIR INC 1 16300 MCKINLEY AVE, LATHROP December 09, 2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 301 CCR 66265.31 Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following were observed in the used oil tank storage area: <br /> -One used metal oil filter found on top of one 5 gallon bucket; not containerized. <br /> -One used paper oil filter found on secondary containment observed not containerized. <br /> -One used metal oil filter found on top of one approximately 700 gallon used oil tank observed not containerized. <br /> The following were found in the northeast corner of the property: <br /> -One 55 gallon drum with used oil observed with used oil accumulating on lid. <br /> The following were found in the front of the facility near the entrance: <br /> -One approximately 10 x 10 puddle observed with oily sheen found on the ground. <br /> The following were observed in trailer located near the front of the property: <br /> -One used metal oil filter observed on floor of trailer. <br /> The following were found in the <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean used oil accumulating on lid of 55 gallon used oil drum, manage <br /> material used to clean accumulating used oil as hazardous waste. Immediately clean water puddle with oily sheen <br /> and place used oil filters in a closed container with a hazardous waste label. Manage the waste according to Title 22 <br /> California Code of Regulations for hazardous waste.
