1950: Ralston Purina Company; Southern Pacific Produce Company; <br /> Delta Warehouse Company; California Transportation Company; <br /> Cleaning Works; <br /> 1972: Warehouses were still occupied by Ralston Purina and Delta <br /> Warehouse Companies. The western portion of area (formerly occupied <br /> by California Transportation and Southern Pacific Companies was shown <br /> to be vacant with no structures present; <br /> • 1979: The western portion of site was still vacant but contained <br /> numerous cargo containers, bins and piles; <br /> 1981-1984: Redevelopment Agency purchased individual parcels to <br /> assemble the Southpointe site. The Southpointe site was vacant land. <br /> A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment was conducted in October 2006. A limited <br /> Phase II Site Assessment was conducted in 2007. Contaminants identified as being <br /> present at the site are: Dieldrin concentrations ranging from 17 to 280 microgram per <br /> kilogram of soil (ug/kg); Lead in soil at a concentration up to 470 milligrams per kilogram <br /> of soil (mg/kg); and, Toxaphene in soil at a concentration up to 11 mg/kg. <br /> 12 of 31 <br />
