(Cambria) prepared this report on behalf of Equilon <br /> Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US (Shell) to document the destruction of three <br /> I <br /> groundwater monitoring wells (MW-5, MW-6, and MW78) 'and three vapor extraction wells <br /> (VE-1 through VE-3) at the above referenced site. This work was performed in response to the <br /> Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board's (RWQCB's) March 20, 2003 letter <br /> concurring with San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's (SJCEHD's) <br /> recommendation for case closure and recommending that the existing wells be destroyed. Well <br /> destructions were performed to comply with SJCEHD and California Well Standards Well <br /> Destruction guidelines. <br /> Site Background <br /> The subject site is located on the southeast corner of West Kettleman Lane and Hutchins Street <br /> in a primarily commercial area of Lodi, California (Figure 1). The current site layout includes a <br /> I station building, five dispensers, and an underground fuel storage tank (UST) complex <br /> (Figure 2). In early 1999, Equilon transferred the lease for the station to the dealer who now <br /> Oakland, CA operates the station independently of Equilon. <br /> Sonoma, CA <br /> Portiand, OR <br /> Seattle, WA Cambria submitted a No Further Action Request on December 17, 2002 and received a No <br /> Cambria Further Action Required letter from the RWQCB dated March 20, 2003.
