s
t•
QUARTERLY GROUND WATER MONITORING REPORT
420 W.Kedlemxn.Lo W."If—Ea
r..
through d) listed above and total lead by EPA method 7421. Laboratory results are
summarized in Table 2 of attachments and the reports and chain-of-custody forms are
located in Appendix A.
Furthermore, a groundwater sample from MW-2 was analyzed for Total and Fecal
Coliform. This sample was collected on January 16, 1991 and sent under chain-of-
custody to Eureka Laboratories, Inc. in Sacramento, California to perform the analysis by
the Colilert method. Associated test results are presented in Table 2. Refer to the
attached SOP's 4, 5 and 7, in Appendix B for protocol on sample identification and chain-
of custody, laboratory analytical qualky assurance and control and groundwater purging
and sampling.
3.3 Results of Quarterly Sampling
During the first quarter 1991 groundwater monitoring program the following items were
observed:
a The three groundwater monitoring wells were analyzed pursuant to regulatory
guidelines and recommendations. The laboratory results reF,ort indicate that
TPPH-G, BTEC, EDB and lead were below detection limits. The results reported for
EDC indicate below detection limit in MW-1 and MW-2 with a reading of 0.0015
parts per million (ppm) in MW-3. f=ecal coliform was reported in MW-2 at greater
than 16 MPN/100 ml (Most Probable Number).
o An average groundwater elevation within the three on site monitoring wells was
measured at minus 18.69 feet (Below Mean Sea Level).
o The distance to groundwater was measured at an average depth of 61.27 feet
below the reference elevation.
o On s3ie evalijation of the groundwater gradient indicates a direction of southeast
at a rate of 0.0014 ft/ft (Figure 2).
s
.
