RFr,,FIVED <br /> C A M B R I A JUN 161999 <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> PERNII F SERVICES <br /> June 11, 1999 <br /> Ms Kasey Foley <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> 304 E Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 <br /> Re Underground Storage Tank Removal Report <br /> Shell-branded Service Station <br /> 420 W Kettleman Lane <br /> Lodi, California <br /> SAP Code 135445 <br /> Incident # 98995525 <br /> Dear Ms Foley <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) prepared this report on behalf of Equiva <br /> Services LLC (Equiva) to document the underground storage tank (UST) removal at the <br /> above referenced site Cambria performed inspections and soil sampling following the <br /> removal of three gasoline USTs, five fuel dispenser islands, associated product piping, and <br /> • subsequent over-excavation activities Prior to the UST removal, Cambria drilled soil borings <br /> to pre-classify the soil The work was performed to comply with San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services (SJCPHS) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (RWQCB) guidelines <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> Site Description The subject site is located on the southeast corner of Hutchins Street and <br /> West Kettleman Lane in a primarily commercial area of Lodi, California (Plate 1) The site <br /> layout included a station building, five dispenser islands, and three gasoline USTs (Plate 2) <br /> Triangle Construction of Sacramento, California removed the USTs, dispensers, and <br /> associated piping during January 1999 Stockton Service Station Equipment Company, Inc <br /> (SSSEC) of Stockton, California recently installed two new gasoline and diesel USTs and five <br /> Oakland CA dispensers in the same locations as the former USTs and dispensers <br /> Sonoma CA <br /> Portland 0R <br /> 5 e a t t I e w A Previous Investigations In September 1989, Aegis Environmental (Aegis) drilled 15 soil <br /> borings in preparation for a proposed tank replacement project Total purgeable petroleum <br /> Cambria hydrocarbons calculated as gasoline (TPPH) was detected in Boring B-8 at a concentration of <br /> Environmental <br /> Technology,Inc 1060 parts per million (ppm) Petroleum hydrocarbons were not detected (ND) in the other <br /> OetkinsStreet borings with the exception of trace concentrations of toluene and xylenes in Borings B-1, <br /> P 0 Box 259 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(707)935-4850 <br /> Fax(7o7)935-6649 <br />
