The Project Manager is also responsible for <br /> ensuring that the provisions of the Health and Safety Plan(HSP) are carried out. This includes <br /> ensuring that all held personnel have received adequate training,that an adequate supply of <br /> ;. <br /> safety and emergency equipment is available. <br /> 3 <br /> Designated Site Safety Officers: Joseph RamageaAq1F-' Date: 02491 <br /> 491 <br /> The Site Safety Officer(SSO) is responsible for implementing the site health and safety plan. <br /> `I <br /> This includes ensuring that field personnel have read and signed the HSP, and that a Tailgate <br /> Safety Meeting is conducted on site each day prior to initiating field activities. In addition,the <br /> I' SSO will be responsible for auditing the site operations for compliance with the health and safety <br /> plan and any applicable federal, state or local requirements. The SSO is required to be on site at <br /> I,: all times. In the SSO's absence a designated alternate will assume the duties and <br /> responsibilities. <br /> Work Objectives/Scope: Conduct soil and groundwater investigation related to a former <br /> underground storage tank (UST).
