GROUND WATER ANALYTICAL RESULTS
Ground water samples were.collected from each of the site monitoring wells for laboratory analysis.
A summary of ground water analytical results are presented in Table 2. The laboratory analytical
' report is included in Appendix C.
There were no,reported detections of-toluene, ethylbenzene,-total xylenes, or TPH-g.in any of the '
' ground water samples'analyzed during the November 1999 monitoring event(Table 2).Benzene and
TPH-d were only detected in well sample MW-4 at concentrations of 7.7 µg/l and 61 1ugll,
' respectively (Table 2). MTBE was only reported in the ground water sample collected from
monitoring well MW-4. MTBE was detected in sample MW-4 at 1,100µg/l (Table 2). The reported
detections of MTBE in sample MV-4 exceeds the .DHS-established 'secondary maximum
' contaminant level(MCL)of 5.0,ugll and action level of,1.3 ,ugll for MTBE in ground water. There
were no reported detections of any other fuel oxygenating compounds.. Other than the relatively low
levels of oluene and TPH-d reported, the analytical results for the November 1999 monitoring event
appear consistent with previous results.
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS'
Based upon data reviewed and collected at the site, AGE recommends:
• Continuation of the quarterly ground water.monitoring program. The.next ground water
monitoring event will represent the last event of,the ground water monitoring program'as '
recommended in the Additional Soil and Ground Water Assessment Report. The :next
quarterly ground water monitoring, event is scheduled to be conducted in February 2000.
' Recommendations for the site will be presented in the next ground water monitoring report.
LIMITATIONS
AGE'.s professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised
' by environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based upon
analytical results provided by.an independent laboratory. Evaluations of the geologic/hydrogeologic
conditions at.the site, for the purpose of this investigation were made from a limited number of
' available data points (i.e.,monitoring wells and ground water samples) and subsurface conditions
may vary beyond these data points. No other warranty,'expressed.or implied, is made as to the,
professional recommendations contained in this report.
,' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
