The history and progress of this project was discussed during a <br /> meeting between representatives of the.City of Stockton, San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services (SJCPHS), and Twining on January 30, 1996. The consensus of those concerned <br /> was that additional soil assessment was required to delimit the lateral extent of PPC <br /> migration in subsurface soil and to gather additional data on groundwater. The work of this <br /> additional assessment is documented in the following section. <br /> i� <br /> 4.0 INVESTIGATIVE PROCEDURES <br /> This limited soil assessment consisted of: preparation of a work plan and appropriate permit <br /> applications, a field investigation, a laboratory testing program, and preparation of a <br /> summary report. Standard operating procedures (SOPs), relevant to the field and laboratory <br /> activities, are described in Appendix A.
