' Project No S8080-06-01C
r
August 31, 1994
1
' Uriah performed eight additional borings (EB-4 through EB-11) at the site between December
1991 and April 1992 The borings were extended to depths between 60 and 70 feet bgs A
' review of the laboratory test results indicate that TPHg, TPHd and BTEX concentrations were
not reported for soil samples collected from borings EB-4 and EB-7 located at the
' southwestern site boundary TPHg and TPHd concentrations ranging from 1 5 to 200 mg/Kg
' were reported for soil samples obtained from depths between 21 and 41 feet bgs in boring EB-
5 located in the central portion of the parking area TPHg concentrations at or below 26
' mg/Kg were reported for soil samples collected at depths between 25 and 45 feet bgs in
Iborings EB-6 and EB-9 located in the southeastern portion of the site TPHg concentrations
ranging between 3 8 and 11,000 mg/Kg and TPHd concentrations between 47 and 2,400
mg/Kg were reported for soil samples collected at depths between 15 and 35 feet bgs in
borings EB-8 and EB-11, respectively Laboratory test results were not reported for boring
EB-10 The laboratory test results reported by Uriah for soil samples collected from borings
' SB-1, SB-2, SB-3, EB-4 through EB-9, and EB-11 are summarized on Table I
' Uriah completed borings EB-7, EB-9 and EB-10 as groundwater monitoring wells MW-1, MW-
' 2 and MW-3, respectively The monitoring wells were reportedly sampled by Uriah in July
1992 and January 1993 Groundwater was encountered at depths between 55 and 56 feet bgs
' with a reported southwesterly groundwater flow direction The results of the reported
' groundwater sample analyses indicate that TPHg was detected in each well at concentrations
- 17 -
