U <br /> CHRONOLOGY <br /> Wilbur-Ellis I H & H Engineering and Construction Facility <br /> 212 Industrial Drive <br /> Stockton, CA 95206 <br /> f 01/06/98 Date that San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) <br /> received a workplan for additional subsurface investigation of a 1,000 <br /> gallon underground storage tank (UST) and associated piping that were <br /> reportedly removed from this site (without EHD pen-nit and inspection). <br /> Reportedly a soil sample was collected at approximately seven feet below <br /> ground surface (bgs) under the piping and had concentrations for total <br /> .petroleum hydrocarbons at 7.2 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg). <br /> 01/14/98 Soil boring performed this date. <br /> 02/02/98 Four probes were advanced this date. <br /> 02/16/98 Date of Subsurface Investigation that discussed the results from advancing <br /> borehole B1 to a total depth of 20 feet on 01/14/98, and advancing four <br /> additional boreholes (P1, P2, P3, and P4) ranging from 20 to 40 feet bgs <br /> on 02/02/98. ; <br /> 03/13/98 Date of Groundwater Sampling that discussed the results from advancing <br /> soil boring P5-W to total depth of 50 feet bgs on 03/06/98. <br /> 04/03/98 EHD filed Notification of Hazardous Waste Discharge and UST <br /> Unauthorized Release Contamination Site Report on this date. <br /> 08/28/98 Date of Additional Subsurface Soil and Groundwater Assessment Phase I- <br /> August 1998 that; discussed advancing two borings (B2 and B3) to <br /> approximately 60: feet bgs and four borings (B4 through B7) to <br /> approximately 40 feet bgs. <br /> 09/23-24/98 Monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3 were installed. <br /> 10/28/98 Date -ofWell Survey Report. Six wells were located within a 2000-foot <br /> radius of the former UST site. Groundwater flow direction was generally <br /> to the northeast. Irrigation and municipal wells were located within 2000 <br /> feet of the source area at the Valley Tomato Products Company located <br /> east/northeast of the UST site. One well of unknown type was located at ; <br /> the Stockton Livestock Exchange within 2000 feet to the southwest of the <br /> source area. Three other wells were located approximately 1000 feet to <br /> the southwest and northwest of the source area. <br /> } <br /> 11/17/98 Date of Additional.Subsurface Soil and Groundwater Assessment —Phase <br /> II — September 1998 that discussed findings from the installation of <br /> monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-3 on September 23 -24, 1998. <br />
