Soil samples were collected <br /> from all five borings and groundwater samples were collected from GP-2 <br /> through GP-5. <br /> 10/16/00 Date of Additional Subsurface Assessment, Sensitive Receptor Survey, and <br /> First Semi-annual 2000 Groundwater Sampling that discussed findings <br /> from the advancement of five push probe borings (GP-1 through GP-5) <br /> and provided additional information about sensitive receptors, including <br /> the presence of an unlined canal within 500 feet of the source area. <br /> 03/1-3/05 Dates seven Geoprobe soil borings (SBA, SBB, SBC, SBD, SBE, SBF, } <br /> and SBG) were advanced at this site. <br /> 05/23/05 Date of Additional Subsurface Investigation and Semi-annual <br /> Groundwater Sampling Report that discussed findings from the <br /> advancement of soil borings SBA; SBB, SBC, SBD, SBE, SBF, and SBG. <br /> 09/27/05 Date of Request for Case Closure. It was estimated that approximately <br /> 2,800 cubic yards of contaminated soil containing approximately six <br /> pounds of benzene and 185 pounds of gasoline remain at the site; and <br /> approximately 0.7 pounds of benzene and gasoline remain in the <br /> groundwater. <br /> 04/04/06 Date of Environmental Health Department (EHD) letter that responded to <br /> Request for Case Closure and directed that monitoring well MW-3 be <br /> sampled quarterly instead of semi-annually because of increasing <br /> concentrations for benzene found in this well. <br /> 06/22/06 Date of Human Health Risk Screening Evaluation — Vapor Intrusion from <br /> Groundwater. This report concluded that vapor intrusion did not appear to <br /> pose a threat at this site. <br /> 04/17/07 Date of First Quarter 2007 Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling <br /> Report and Request for Case Closure. <br /> 05/16/07 Date EHD staff discussed the site with CVRWQCB staff for potential site f <br /> closure concurrence. <br /> 07/03/07 Date EHD received verbal directive from CVRWQCB to submit <br /> appropriate information to CVRWQCB for case closure consideration. 2 <br /> i <br /> k <br />
