----- -- - - ------- -�� K L F 1 fV f E L f} E R <br /> 4.2 500-FOOT PHYSICAL RECEPTOR SURVEY <br /> On dune 22, 2000, Kleinfelder conducted a physical search for wells and sensitive receptors <br /> ' within a 500-foot radius of the former UST at the subject site Sensitive receptors typically <br /> include wells, but also refer to receptors such as canals, surface streams, ponds etc A illustration <br /> of our findings are shown on Plate 7 <br />' No wells were located within the 500-foot search distance Features of the adjacent fenced <br /> properties such as Leatherback Industries were observed at the fence perimeters An east-west <br /> unlined canal was observed approximately 220 feet north of the former UST location A small <br /> drainage ditch was noted along the northern property boundary and south of Industrial Drive No <br /> other sensitive receptors were noted <br />' 4.3 PERMIT REVIEW <br /> iOn dune 22, 2000 a Klemfelder project geologist visited PHS/EHD to review permit records for <br /> an approximate search distance of 2,000-feet from the former UST located at the subject site <br /> Microfiche records and computer records were reviewed (Appendix G) The microfiche records <br /> included past permits up to approximately 1996 Computer records range from 1993 to present <br /> Three wells were identified in the microfiche record search These wells are summarized in <br /> Table 3 and shown on Plate 6 and include well numbers 3, 4 and 5 The computer record search <br /> was conducted by Ms Linda Turkett, Senior Environmental Health Specialist, for PHS/EHD <br /> No sensitive receptors were identified in the computer search <br /> WELL NUMBER 3 <br />' A pump inspection permit dated duly 5, 1990, was found for Stockton Livestock Exchange <br /> located at 4343 McKinley Avenue, located about 1,500 feet southwest of the former UST <br /> location A sketch of a well near a livestock yard and above-ground storage tank was shown No <br /> specific well construction data was available <br /> WELL NUMBER 4 <br /> A permit dated September 27, 1988, was located which referenced a 6-inch diameter <br /> domestic/private well located at 4303 McKinley Avenue This is the address of Intermodal <br /> Industry located approximately 800-feet west of the former UST Location No additional well <br /> construction data was available <br /> tWELL NUMBER 5 <br /> A cathodic protection well permit dated September 24, 1990, references a location in proximity <br /> to the intersection of El Dorado Street and McKinley just east of the Union Pacific Railroad It <br /> appeared the cathodic protection was for a petroleum pipeline with runs parallel and just east of <br /> 20-4439-01 E0112000R726 Page 6 of 17 <br /> Copynght 2000 Klemfelder Inc October t6 2000 <br />
