' 32 Responsibilities <br /> Site Safely Officer (SSO) Erik A Friedrich <br /> The SSO is responsible for directing and implementing the HASP and ensuring that all TreaTek and <br /> subcontractor personnel have been trained in HASP procedures The SSO will assure that <br /> ' 1) Proper protective equipment is available and used in the correct manner <br /> 2) Decontamination activities, as required, are carried out correctly <br /> I3) Specific site hazards are noted and accounted for in the Work Pian <br /> ' 4) Employees have knowledge of the local emergency medical system <br /> 5) Identified hazards and corrective actions taken are noted on project data sheets or <br /> log book <br /> 6) Periodic surveys and sampling are accomplished <br /> 7) Accident prevention measures are taken, such as tailgate site awareness meetings, <br /> are conducted prior to initiating daily activities <br /> ' 8) Cal/OSHA 200 log and summary of occupational injuries and illness are completed <br /> as required <br /> Project Manager Erik A Friedrich <br /> The Project Manager is responsible for <br /> ' 1) Directing all on-site hazardous waste operations, including the overall implementation <br /> of the Health and Safety program <br /> ' 2) Selecting subcontractors that meet TreaTek Corporations Health and Safety training <br /> and experience guidelines <br /> 3) Ensuring that adequate resources and personnel protective equipment are allocated <br /> for the health and safety of site personnel <br /> 4) Ensuring that the SSO is given free access to all relevant site information that could <br /> impact health and safety <br /> 5) Correcting conditions or work practices that could lead to employee exposure to <br /> ' hazardous materials <br /> 2 <br />
