61 General Trainino Requirements <br /> TreaTek employees and subcontractors who enter the site shall be able to recognize and evaluate <br /> the potential hazards to health and safety associated with the site operations and apply appropriate <br /> controls Individuals working onsite will have completed a 40-hour training program and have up-to- <br /> date annual refresher training for hazardous substance workers in accordance with 29 CFR <br /> 1910 120 <br /> 62 Jahant Road Site Health and Safety Information and Procedures <br /> TreaTek employees and subcontractors will familiarize themselves with the following information and <br /> procedures prior to starting work at the site <br /> ' Communication_Procedures <br /> Grip partners wast or both hands around waist Leave area immediately <br /> Hands on top of head Need assistance <br /> ' Thumbs up Ok, I am all right, I understand <br /> Thumbs down No, negative <br /> Emergency Procedures <br /> The following standard emergency procedures will be used by on-site personnel The Site Safety <br /> Office (SSO) shall be notified of any on-site emergencies and be responsible for ensuring that the <br /> appropriate procedures are followed <br /> Personal injury at the remedial area upon notification of an injury at the remedial area, the <br /> ' designated emergency signal of an automobile horn shall be sounded All site personnel shall <br /> assemble for decontamination (as required) and situation briefing The rescue team will remove the <br /> injured person out of the remedial area <br /> The Site Safety Officer (SSO) shall evaluate the nature of the injury and the affected person shall <br /> be decontaminated (as required) to the extent possible prior to movement On-site first aid will be <br /> ' provided until medical help is obtained Contact will be made for ambulance and with the <br /> designated medical facility (if required) No persons shall re-enter the Work Zone until the cause <br /> of the injury or symptoms are determined <br /> In all situations, when an on-site emergency results in evacuation of the remedial area, personnel <br /> shall not return on-site until <br /> 1) The conditions resulting in the emergency have been corrected <br /> 2) The hazards have been reassessed <br /> 3) The Site Health and Safety Plan has been reviewed <br /> 4) Site personnel have been briefed on any changes in the Site Safety Plan <br /> 4 <br />
