Box 20
Stockton, California 95201
Re: Quarterly Monitoring Report, Ekholm Property, Escalon California
Dear Ms. Birkie,
Enclosed is a copy of the quarterly monitoring report (second quarter 1995) for
the Ekholm Property, 1702 Jackson Street, Escalon. In summary, no
hydrocarbons were detected in groundwater samples collected on June 22,
1995. These results are in agreement with past analyses indicating that
hydrocarbons have had no significant impact on groundwater quality at this
site.
The soil vapor extraction (SVE) system is still operating with all five wells on-
line. I estimate that, as of July 11, 1995, approximately 112 pounds of
hydrocarbons have been removed from the subsurface. This quarterly
monitoring report includes tablulated SVE monitoring data, analytical data,
and the formulae used to calculate the cumulative amount of hydrocarbons
removed from the site.
Copies of the quarterly monitoring report will be forwarded to Ms. Linda
Turkatte of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental
Health Department (PHS/EHD) and Ms. Elizabeth Thayer of the Central
Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board. I have enclosed an extra copy
of the quarterly monitoring report so that you may forward it to Mrs. Ekholm.
Please feel free to call me at 510-337-8737 if you have questions regarding this
report.
Sincerely,
learwater Grou , Inc.
eanna S.
