Kettleman Lane
Lodi, CA
I
San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health
Division (PHS/EHD) has reviewed the "Second Quarter 1995
Groundwater Monitoring and Remediation System Evaluation Report"
dated August 4 , 1995, prepared by Brown and Caldwell for the above
referenced site .
Please be advised that PHS/EHD has filed a complaint against Boston
Chicken with our district attorney for the improper abandonment of
W-6 by Boston Chicken. PHS/EHD concurs that ARCO made a good faith
attempt to find and properly destroy W-6 .
The report states that monitoring wells W-2A, W-2B, W-4 , W-7, W-8 ,
W-10 , W-11, and W-12 will- be scheduled for semi-annual sampling.
Since W-4 has not been sampled since January 1990 because it was
dry or had insufficient water for sampling, this well should
continue to have depth to water measurements taken. If sufficient
water is present in the well, then it should be sampled. PHS/EHD
concurs with semi-annual sampling of the other listed wells .
If you have any questions contact Margaret Lagorio at (209) 468-
3449 .
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Margaret Lagorio, Lead Senior REHS Diane M.
