The proposed <br /> septic system will consist of a 1,500-gallon septic tank with two compartments and leach <br /> lines. The septic system will be connected to the three-bedroom modular residence <br /> planned to be developed on the property and will be utilized 365 days a year. <br /> 3.1. EXISTING ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK USAGE <br /> The septic system servicing the existing residential structure (house) consists of a 1,200- <br /> gallon septic tank,- the specifications for the leach lines are not reported on the onsite <br /> wastewater treatment system permit on file with the SJCEHD. The septic tank and leach <br /> lines are located to the west of the structure on the property. The system is permitted for <br /> a two-bedroom house and will be utilized 365 days/year once the residence is occupied. <br /> 3.2. SITE SEPTIC PERMIT HISTORY <br /> Two septic permits are on record at the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHD). EHD Permit 18-1326 dated December 1983 on record for 438 West <br /> Mathews Road, French Camp, California, indicates that a septic system was repaired. <br /> EHD permit SR0073561 on record for 438 West Mathews Road, French Camp, California, <br /> indicates that the original septic tank was destroyed and replaced with a new 1,200-gallon <br /> tank and distribution box in November 2015 (Appendix B). <br /> 3.3. ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK REPAIR HISTORY <br /> A total of two septic permits for repair/addition were on record at EHD. The first permit <br /> (18-1326) on record for 438 West Mathews Road, French Camp, California, indicates <br /> leach lines/piping were repaired in December 1983. The second permit (SR0073561) <br /> indicates that the original septic tank was destroyed and replaced with a new 1,200-gallon <br /> tank and distribution box in November 2015 (Appendix B). <br /> 3.4. EXISTING SEPTIC TANK USAGE IN THE GENERAL AREA <br /> Neighboring properties are zoned for residential, governmental and agricultural land use. <br /> The adjacent properties to the south, east and west are agricultural and the property to <br /> the north beyond West Mathews Road is governmental. Several liquid waste permits are <br /> on record at the EHD for installation of septic systems surrounding the site property. <br /> 3.5. GENERAL AREA SEPTIC PERMIT HISTORY <br /> The following is a summary of information based on new septic system installation permits <br /> currently on file with EHD. <br />
