INTRODUCTION <br />' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has prepared this work plan addendum for installation of <br /> three additional ground water momtonng wells at 1301 West Kettleman Lane,Lodi,California(site) <br /> The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1 A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2 <br />' The proposed scope of work is in accordance with a telephone conversation with Mr Harlin Knoll <br /> of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) to further assess the <br />' vertical extent of petroleum-impacted ground water in the area near MW-2, the lateral extent of <br /> impacted ground water south-southwest of well MW-2 and to assess the area east-northeast of the <br /> fuel dispensing area <br /> 1 This work plan is prepared in accordance with California Regional Water Quality Control Board- <br /> Central Valley Region (RWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tanks <br />' (UST) sites <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Based on the soil and ground water data collected during the investigation, AGE has developed a <br />' preliminary subsurface model of the site soil stratigraphy (Cone Penetrometer Testing Report - <br /> November 2001, dated 21 June 2002) The subsurface is comprised of a vadose zone from surface <br /> t grade to 55 feet below surface grade (bsg)underlain by seven hydrologic units Hydrologic Unit 1 <br /> is located approximately 55 feet to 65 feet bsg,Hydrologic 2 located approximately 65 to 70 feet bsg, <br /> Hydrologic Unit 3 from 70 to 75 feet bsg,Hydrologic Unit 4 from 75 to 80 feet bsg,Hydrologic Unit <br />' 5 from 80 feet to 90 feet bsg, Hydrologic Unit 6 from 90 to 95 feet bsg and Hydrologic Unit 7 from <br /> 95 to at least 100 feet bsg <br />' AGE proposes to drill and install two 2-inch diameter ground water monitoring wells (MW-5 and <br /> MW-6)in first water and screened between 45 feet and 65 feet bsg(Hydrologic Units One and Two), <br /> AGE also proposes to drill and install and one 2-inch diameter ground water monitoring well <br />' (MW-7) in deeper water screened between 80 and 90 feet bsg (Hydrologic Unit No 5) <br /> The scope of work will consist of the following tasks <br /> • Permitting, planning and pre-field work activities, <br /> • Drilling and well installation, <br /> • Preparation of Report of Findings <br /> Advanced GeoEnvirnnmental,Inc <br />
