30 June 1999 , <br /> AGE-NC Project No 99-0624 <br /> Page 6 of 10 <br /> 3 4 3 Monitoring Well Installation and Development <br /> s <br /> Following completion of monitoring well borings, two-inch diameter monitoring wells will be <br /> installed in each of the borings Ground water monitoring wells will consist of 20 feet of well screen <br /> section The well screen section will be installed across the observed water table level with five feet <br /> of screen section extending above the water level and ten feet of screen section extending below the <br /> water table level Based on ground water table level, it is anticipated that the total depth of the <br /> monitoring wells will be approximately 60 feet bsg Wells will be completed as described in Section <br /> 44 <br /> Following well installation, the wells will be developed in order to maximize water flow into the <br /> well and minimize the amount of fine-grained sediment drawn into the well during purging activities <br /> Field procedures for monitoring well installation and development are presented in Sections 4 4 and <br /> 4 5, respectively <br /> Additionally, the elevation of ground water monitoring wells will be surveyed <br /> . 3 4 4 Ground Water Sample Collection and Analysis <br /> Following installation and development of the monitoring wells, one ground water monitoring and <br /> sampling event will be conducted at the site Ground water samples will be collected from the <br /> proposed monitoring wells and submitted for laboratory analysis Ground water samples will be <br /> analyzed for TPH-g, BTEX and fuel oxygenating compounds following the protocols presented in <br /> Section 3 3 Additionally, monitoring activities will include recording depth to ground water <br /> measurements Ground water sample collection procedures are described in Section 4 6 <br /> 35 REPORT PREPARATION <br /> Upon completion of field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis, a report will be prepared <br /> presenting the findings of the investigation The report will include a description of the work <br /> performed and results of the sampling and analysis Conclusions and applicable recommendations <br /> will be included in the report The report will be in a format acceptable to the PHS-EHD and <br /> CVRWQCB, and will be reviewed and signed by a California Registered Geologist <br /> 4.0. FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> • All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of a California <br /> Advanced GeoEmironmentaf,Inc <br />
