Antea Group completed the scope for this limited subsurface sampling event in general
accordance with the March 6, 2014 Limited Soil Sampling Work Plan prepared for San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD).
Antea Group completed this limited soil sampling investigation to establish subsurface contaminant concentrations
in areas of planned construction/excavation areas where there are shallow soil analytical data gaps, as well as to
evaluate potential environmental concerns (PECs) identified in Antea Group's January 22, 2014 Limited Phase I
Environmental Site Assessment (ESA). This investigation focused on soil sampling in areas where soil will be
displaced for site improvements, including rail line installation and subsurface utility installation, associated with
construction of the rail welding facility.
