PLLD Line Leak Sensor Installation
Important aw Seal any threads using a UL-classified, nontoxic pipe sealant suitable for the fuel
involved.
2. Feed the Line Leak Sensor cable through the watertight cord grip on the Line Leak
Sensor junction box.
3. Tighten the knurled nut on the cord grip to ensure a watertight seal.
4. Newer line leak sensors are equipped with a vent screw[Figure 15]to equalize
internal pressure. If the line leak sensor is installed at altitudes above 2,000 feet,
open the vent screw at least two turns, but not more than three turns. Then tighten
the screw securely to prevent water from entering.
Important g;5, Failure to follow this step where applicable could cause inaccurate pressure readings
and false line leak alarms.
32 576013-902,Revision G
