. t Y
Subsurface Investigation, Well Installation, and Sample Analyses Results Page 12
Cintra Park Phase H Development,
Tract 2705, Tracy, California
July 23, 1998 CTE Job No. 20-0445B
samples were collected with a disposable bailer instead of directly from the pump. Depth
to water was measured in all of the wells before the wells were purged for sampling. Water-
table elevations are shown in Table 3 and Figure 6. Depth to water was also checked
following purging, prior to sampling,to verify that the wells had recovered to at least 80%
of the static water-level, prior to purging. Petroleum product presence was also measured
r
by applying Kolor Kut petroleum sensing paste: petroleum product was not detected in any
of the wells.
V ,
_ 4.5.3 Groundwater Sample Analyses
Groundwater samples were analyzed by Chromalab, Inc., Pleasanton, California. Samples
from both the April 14, 1998 and May 13, 1998 sampling events were analyzed for TPH-G,
BTEX, and methyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBE) constituents. Samples from only the May
13' sampling event were analyzed for ethanol and methanol. The method used for MTBE
3 s p g yz o
varied between the two sampling events. The MTBE analyses method for the April 8th
sampling was by 8015M, while the 8260 method for fuel oxygenates was used on samples
collected on May 13th. Analyses results are discussed in Section 5.2 and are presented in
4
Table 4 and Figure 7.
C:ITEEL FILESICINTRA PARKICINTRA7-13.DOC
r
