A well survey that shows the location of all agricultural, industrial, domestic, municipal and other wells located within a 2000-foot r idius of the site was also requested. 2.0 WORK PLAN M.J. Kloberdanz & Associates proposes to drill up to 4 Geoprobe borings to a maximum depth of 30 feet. Two to three soil samples will t e obtained from each boring location for laboratory analysis. Water samples will be obtained from all Geoprobe borings. The borings will be drilled in the area of the former underground tank location, B-3, at the 24100 Lammers Road property. At least one boring will be located in each of the suspected groundwater gradient directions to the north and east of B-3. Based on the results of the Geoprobe borings three groundwat r monitoring wells will be installed. Proposed locations of the wells will be submitted on a supplemental site map once the laboratory results of the Geoprobe borings are obtained. Soil samples will be collected at five foot intervals for geological interpretation Eind laboratory analysis as described below. The water samples shall be analyzed for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (gasoline & diesel), Oxygenated Compounds (method 8260), and BTX&E (Benzene, Toluene, Xylene, and Ethyl Benzene). The soil boring will be accomplished using a mobile mounted drilling rig employing the use of a hollow stem flight auger no less than 3 114- inch i.d. and 8 718 o.d. and/or Geoprob ® Systems drilling rig, Model 5400, employing the use of a 1.25"hollow probe rods. All drilling equipment will be thoroughly s eam-cleaned before drilling begins, to prevent the introduction of contamination from off site, and between borings to prevent cross contamination. The borings will be logged under the direct supervision of a registered professional using the Unified Soil Class Ification System. The color, texture, moisture, plasticity (if applicable), consistency of the earth materials, pertinent soil or bedrock characteristics, and any evidence of contamination will be noted. All water-bearing zones and the depths at which they were encountered will be noted on these logs. ,' 3
