AGS <br /> 3.0 PROPOSED SITE INVESTIGATION <br /> This section includes site background, references to any previous site investigations, <br /> and a description of the proposed site investigation for the OWS sites at Buildings 12, <br /> 410A and 508. <br /> 3.1 OWS SITES AT BUILDINGS 12. 410A AND 508 <br /> 3.1 .1 Site Background <br /> This section presents site background information for the separate OWS sites at <br /> Buildings 12, 410A and 508. The information presented in this section is based on a <br /> site visit conducted by AGS at the facility on April 6, 1999 and additional information <br /> obtained from the construction plans for Buildirings 12, 410A and 508 OWS sites <br /> (included in Appendix A) and discussions held with Gail Qatsha of the Environmental <br /> Management Office at NCTS Stockton. Site background information for each site is <br /> included in the subsections below. <br /> Building 12 OWS. Building 12 is located in the northeastern corner of NCTS Stockton, <br /> near the shoreline of the Stockton Deep Water Channel (Figure 2). The Building 12 <br /> OWS site is located at a boat maintenance facility at the marina. The OWS is <br /> associated with a boat washdown pad located on the east side of Building 12. The <br /> NCTS Fire Department used the washdown pad to clean boats used by the department <br /> for boat/water rescues and boat safety inspections. The layout of the Building 12 OWS <br /> site is shown on Figure 3. The principal elements of the OWS system at the site include <br /> the Building 12 catch basin, the wash pad catch basin, the OWS. the waste oil tank, and <br /> connected piping. The OWS system was construoted in approximately 1987, based on <br /> a revision date included on the construction pians (Appendix A).
