The majority of the proposed borings (61, B2, B3,
B4, and 68)as well as GWM Well MW28 are all located on the property at 525 Larch Road (the site
bordering the Frontier Transportation site).
We have made a request of the owners of the 535 Larch Road property to gain access to their property to
install the borings and well. We recently received the attached letter from the property owner's attorney in
regards to an entry agreement. In the last paragraph of first page of the attached letter and following first
paragraph on page 2 of the attached letter, the attorney notes that the locations of several of the borings
and the well should be moved to eliminate traffic interferences.
Attached is a site plan which we have prepared which shows the current proposed and approved
boring/well locations, in addition to the proposed new locations as suggested by the property owner's
attorney. Basically, borings B1, B2, B3, and B4, and GWM Well MW28 will all moved to the planter area
in the center of the property to avoid interferences with the traffic lanes and traffic flow.
We have reviewed the revised proposed boring locations and determined that moving these borings
should not effect our ability to gain the necessary data and information needed to evaluate the extent of
MTBE impacts to groundwater in the down gradient direction. We also feel the revised well location will be
adequate. We are aware that the final location for the GWM Well MW28 will be confirmed only after the
test results from the soil borings is evaluated to determine the extent of the groundwater contaminant
plume.
Please provide your approval of the revised soil borings and well locations or let us know should you have
any comments or questions.
This correspondence has been reviewed and approved by our Professional Geologist,Andrew Payne.
Regards,
Larry Witwer
Sr. Project Manager
AMI ADINI R ASSOCIATES, INC.
4609 Russell Avenue
Los Angeles, CA 90027
Tel#(323)913-4073
Fax#(323)667-2336
e-mail: larrywta'amiadi ni.com
Web site:www.amiadini.com
8/13/2010
