well Permit Application Page 2 of 2 <br /> August 13,2010 <br /> Soil Sam"Im : <br /> Eight direct push soil borings will be advanced in the general area west of the subject property(See Figure 6).Each of the borings <br /> will be advanced to a total depth of 20 feet bgs using a direct push rig.The soil borings will be continuously cored for lithologic <br /> descriptions and final well construction design. <br /> A grab groundwater sample will be collected from each of the eight direct push borings using the screened sampler associated with <br /> the direct push rig.The sampler will be advanced to the target depth and retracted to expose the screen to groundwater•Apump and <br /> a riser tubing will be used to collect a groundwater samples in laboratory provided containers,labeled,placed on ice,and transported <br /> to a state certified analytical laboratory. <br /> It should be noted that for the 523 Larch Road property(APN#21220005),the Property owner requested that Bl,B2,B3, <br /> B4 and MW28 be relocated to the center of the property to avoid interferences with the flow of vehicular traffic. AA&A <br /> send an email request to the SJCDEH (copy attached) to relocated the borings and subsequently received approval from the <br /> SJCDEH(See attached approval letter dated 07-02-10).
