Here is my response to <br /> your recent comments and concerns on work plan: <br /> �j1 <br /> • On May Nth' the paper copies of Figure 4 through Figure 9 were mailed to your office via USPS. <br /> • The volume of water that we disposed of was the total volumes of water that we generated during the <br /> during the depth-discrete pumping test plus the water that was generated previously by other consultant <br /> during their groundwater sampling and DPE work. We will explain this in the final work plan. <br /> • We will refer to Table 3 in the work plan. Wells that will be abandoned by pressure grouting(i.e. wells free <br /> of fuel impact)are MW-6,MW-7, MW-10,MW-I1,MW-12,MW-14,MW-15,and MW-16. EMS also <br /> proposes to abandon six more wells: DPE4, DPE5,DPE7, DPE9, DPE10,and MW3R; these wells will be <br /> abandoned by drilling out. We will explain this in the final work plan. <br /> • TBA concentrations for MW-1 in Table 2 will be revised/corrected as needed. <br /> • During the groundwater purging and sampling,wells will be purged at 100 mUmin.A pump rinsate blank <br /> will be submitted to the laboratory for testing. <br /> • Your April 4,2014 emailed comments will be incorporated and/or corrected in our final Workplan. <br /> • we decided to postpone groundwater sampling until all issues with the work plan are taken care of and we <br /> have your approval of the plan. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> S.
