tQUARTERLY MONITORING REPORT <br /> FIRST QUARTER OF 2007 <br /> MORTON-ALCO & UNOCAL OPERABLE UNITS <br /> Stockton, California <br /> WKA No. 6324.02 <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This Quarterly Monitoring Report (QMR)presents the results of first-quarter 2007 groundwater <br /> sampling and analysis at the Morton-Alco Operable Unit(Morton-Alco OU) and Unocal <br /> Operable Unit(Unocal OU)in Stockton, California(Figure 1). This report was prepared under <br /> ' contract to Golden State Environmental, Inc. on behalf of the City of Stockton Redevelopment <br /> Agency(RDA). <br /> 2.0 PURPOSE <br /> The purpose of the work is to comply with groundwater monitoring directives issued by the <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board(RWQCB) Central Valley Region. The RWQCB has <br /> issued two Monitoring and Reporting Program(MRP) actions for these sites. MRP No.R5-2004- <br /> 817 and R5-2004-818 were issued for the Unocal OU and Morton-Alco OU,respectively. As <br /> required by the RWQCB, the following parameters and measurements were obtained from <br /> eleven groundwater-monitoring wells during the first quarter of 2007, conducted on February 5, <br /> 2007: <br /> • Coordinate groundwater monitoring to coincide with monitoring activities conducted by <br /> rSecor International, Inc. (Secor) <br /> • Measure depth-to-water(DTW) and depth-to-product' (DTP), if present, in specified <br /> monitoring wells <br /> • Purge and sample specified monitoring wells <br /> • Submit groundwater samples for chemical analyses per MRP specified requirements <br /> • Prepare tabular and graphical summaries of groundwater monitoring data and results of <br /> tchemical analyses <br /> • Prepare groundwater elevation contour map (potentiometric map) <br /> 1 <br /> product-commonly used term for light nonaqueous phase liquid(LNAPL) NM <br />
