Quarterly Monitoring Report Page 2 <br /> Morton-Alco&Unocal Operable Units April 27,2007 <br /> WKA No. 6324.02 <br /> • Prepare concentration maps for target chemicals <br /> • Discuss chemical concentration trends <br /> 1 • Identify data gaps and potential deficiencies/redundancies <br /> LThe monitoring and sampling activities described above were conducted on the following wells <br /> (Figure 2): <br /> • Unocal OU: MW3, MW5, MW7, MW8, MW11, MW37, MW38, and MW39 <br /> • Morton-Alco OU: MW6, 2AMW-15 and 2BMW-1 <br /> ' 3.0 SITE BACKGROUND <br /> 3.1 Site Location and Description <br /> Both sites are owned by the RDA and consist of relatively flat,previously industrial-use properties <br /> located in a section of Stockton originally developed for industrial uses in the late 1800's. <br /> 3.1.1 Unocal OU <br /> t Union Oil Company of California Unocal operated a bulk fuel plant at the Unocal <br /> The former U p y (Unocal) p <br /> OU. The Unocal OU is approximately 2.4 acres, located to the south of West Weber Avenue, <br /> west of Lincoln Street, north of the centerline of former Main Street, and east of the centerline of <br /> former Harrison Street. Figure 2 is a map of the site and immediate vicinity. <br /> i <br /> 3.1.2 Morton-Alco OU <br /> The former Morton Paint Company operated a paint manufacturing facility at the Morton-Alco <br /> OU. Morton-Alco OU is approximately one acre, located along the southern border of the <br /> Unocal OU, and occupies approximately the northern one-half of the block bounded by former <br /> Main, South Lincoln, former Market and former Harrison Streets. Figure 2 is a map of the site <br /> ' and immediate vicinity. <br />
