October 11,2005 <br /> NOA Project Number: E05111A <br /> 3.1.5 San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner <br /> The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's office'was contacted regarding use of agricultural <br /> chemicals on the subject property. Ms.Hazel Gallego of the Agricultural Commissioner's office found <br /> records for the subject property under the name of Nilsson Farms Inc. (Appendix F). Based on these <br /> records it appears the site was not farmed in 2005.Tomatoes were grown on the property in 2004,and 2J <br /> no permits were issued prior to 2004. No use reports were located. The agricultural chemical permits <br /> for 2004 were Captan Dust,Sevin,Dasnanit,Guthion,Methomyl,Metam Sodium,Paraquat,Monitor <br /> and Propamocarb H. <br /> 3.1.6 Water Supply and Sewage Disposal System <br /> A site visit was conducted on September 26,2005 on the subject property.During this visit no wells or 0•U <br /> septic systems were observed. Mr. Boersma indicated that no wells or septic system currently exist on <br /> the property.The EHD well and septic permit files were searched on September 28,2005 in an effort <br /> to obtain copies of permits for any water wells or septic tanks on the subject property;no permits were <br /> found. In the environmental questionnaire Boersma wrote that the property has one well, but during (3.3) <br /> personal communication on September 28,he indicated that he was referring to the property directly <br /> south of the subject property with the address 15445 Wildwood Road,and confirmed that the subject <br /> property has no well. <br /> 3.1.7 Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources <br /> C3'� <br /> The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) well map W5-3'was <br /> reviewed for evidence of oil or gas wells on or in the vicinity of the subject property. No wells are <br /> depicted within one-quarter mile of the subject property. <br /> 3.1.8 Site Reconnaissance <br /> A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on September 26,2005. Photographs <br /> of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site visit/assessment checklist is <br /> attached to this report as Appendix D. <br /> The subject property was observed to be flat and triangular in shape.The subject property was vacant <br /> land with a large open ditch in the middle which appears to be an agricultural tail-water pond. There 3 <br /> were no pole-mounted transformers on the property.No soil staining was observed;the property had <br /> recently been disced at the time of the site visit. <br /> Surrounding properties were surveyed at the time of the site reconnaissance.
