Soil Suitability/ Nitrate Loading Study ,
Jeremy Winery , Lodi, CA Irerracon
May 7, 2019 Terracon Project No. NA197008
1.3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity
In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the site, our office reviewed
a recent aerial photograph of the property available from GoogleEarthT"'. The vicinity of the site
consists of vacant land and residences. The assumption was made that each building/cluster of
buildings has one septic system. Using this method, we determined there are approximately five
septic systems within 0.25 miles of the site.
1.3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity
Terracon searched the EHD Public Records website for the adjoining property septic permits. The
following table is a summary of septic permits available for the adjacent properties:
Table 2.
Summary of Adjoining Property Septic Permits.
Leach
Tank Size Leach Line Line Seepage Pits,
Direction Address Permit# Type (Gallons) Quantity Length Depth x Width
(Feet)
(Feet)
North --- NF --- --- --- --- ---
Northeast 21500 N. The septic
repair permits can be found in Appendix C of this report.
1.3.7 Expected On-Site Maximum Septic Tank Usage
Based on a review of information provided by Mr. Vierra, the site is proposed to be developed
with a winery which will be open nine hours per day, seven days per week, year round.
Approximately 5 full time employees and 15 daily visitors are anticipated. The proposed winery
will have five special events each year with up to 150 people per event. The total maximum daily
septic tank usage is 2,540 gallons per day (Refer to Section 2.3.4 for the calculation).
Responsive ■ Resourceful ■ Reliable 6
