DATE: September 16, 2014 <br /> INVESTIGATIVE <br /> OBJECTIVES: October 2014: provide soil baseline assessment data; air knife utility <br /> clearance; advance soil borings and collect soil samples for chemical <br /> analyses. <br /> PROPOSED DATE <br /> OF SITE WORK: Begin: October 2014 <br /> DOCUMENTATION/ <br /> SUMMARY: Ultramar No. 3641 was opened as an environmental site in 1995 on basis <br /> of soil analytical results of soil samples collected during removal of <br /> underground storage tanks. The Site was investigated,monitored and <br /> remediated until December 2011 when the EHD received No Further <br /> Action Required(NFAR)concurrence from the Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board. Destruction of all site wells was completed in February <br /> 2013. The EHD issued an NFAR letter for the Site in March 2013. <br /> Gasoline constituents may be present in soil; personal protection is <br /> advised. <br /> SITE/WASTE CHARACTERISTICS <br /> FACILITY DESCRIPTION: Active gasoline station <br /> WASTE TYPE(S): Soil/rinse water: gasoline constituents <br /> CHARACTERISTIC(S): Volatile/Flammable/Toxic <br /> HAZARD EVALUATION <br /> PARAMETER: Breathing zone air: TLV 300 ppm volatile hydrocarbons <br /> Exposure routes: ingestion, inhalation,absorption <br /> Instrumentation: Mini Rae PID <br /> SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS <br /> AND COMMENTS: Proper safety procedures must be followed,per Horizon Environmental <br /> Inc. safety procedures.
