Groundwater samples were collected into
250-milliliter(mL) sulfuric acid preserved poly plastic bottles and 500 mL non-preserved poly
plastic bottles for Iaboratory analysis. Groundwater samples were promptly labeled and placed
into an ice-chilled cooler for transport to the analytical laboratory under chain-of-custody
documentation.
At the end of each day of fieldwork, depth-to-groundwater level measurements were collected
from each open boring advanced that day using an electronic sounder with a tape graduated in
1/100ths of afoot. Following the measurement of the depth-to-groundwater in each open boring,
the boreholes were abandoned by filling with neat cement in accordance with San Joaquin
County Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD)regulations and with oversight by a
SJCEHD inspector.
Selected soil and groundwater samples were submitted to California Laboratory Services in
Rancho Cordova, a California Department of Health Services-certified laboratory for analysis of
the constituents listed in the table below.
.,, ue.:n Y,: 'F{,'- Y':. 1' .]r_.Se:-._":n .s.'up,: ..4•. ?4' . _,'g}.-n_:,r}c-`,'
Soil Ammonia as Nitrogen 350.2M
Nitrate as Nitrogen 300.0
Nitrate/Nitrite as Nitrogen 300.0
Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen 351.3
Total Nitrogen 351.3/300
Specific Conductance 120.1
PH 9045C
Total Phosphorus as Elemental
365.2
Phosphorus
'. ..
