I'm right in the middle of something now, but the 'ball' is
in my court now and I will handle. Pending any unforseen problems, your Monday drill should be ok..I'll contact
you either way to confirm status sometime tomorrow or Friday.
From: Alex Martell [mai Ito:amartell@geomatrix.com]
Sent: Tuesday, July 17, 2007 12:20 PM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Cc: William Pipes
Subject: RE: UniFirst work plan and approval
Mike;
The work plan figures are attached in this email. Sorry for the oversight.
Due to scheduling concerns, we have created two sets of permits: one for nine push point borings, and the
other for four wells. The permit you have now is for the borings (which are scheduled to start on the 23rd)
The well permit will be sent out today for drilling scheduled to start July 30. —
I have been trying to contact Reid Campbell at the City of Stockton, but he's been hard to reach. He has
the encroachment permit for the borings, but this has not been approved or returned yet. If I can get him to
send a copy of the approved encroachment permit directly to you, would that work? Additionally, he will
receive the revocable permit for the wells tomorrow, so depending on turn-around time, we can get a copy
of that to you to associate with the upcoming permit.
The MFR is in the mail as of today, however, we were unable to mail the $285 with it. The plan is to
overnight the check tomorrow so that it will arrive Thursday morning. Can the deadline be met by trusting
that the check is on its way?
I will have to gather the specific information and schematics on the well construction. We will get this to
you as soon as possible, but my understanding is that this won't be necessary for these boring permits.
Thanks for the helpful information and complete explanations. If there is anything else you need, let me
know.
Alex Martell, Staff Engineer
Geomatrix Consultants, Inc.
1281 E.
