ELAP#1644 <br /> MAI will provide laboratory testing of soil and groundwater samples. <br /> 1.3 Workplan Organization <br /> This PEA workplan is organized as follows. <br /> Section 1.0 presents an introduction. <br /> Section 2.0 presents a site background, including a site description and history. <br /> Section 3.0 presents the project objectives and scope. <br /> Section 4.0 describes the field activities including sampling methods and procedures. <br /> Section 5.0 describes record keeping protocols. <br /> Section 6.0 presents the project schedule. <br /> Section 7.0 presents references used in preparation of this PEA workplan. <br /> Section 8.0 presents the report distribution list. <br /> Section 9.0 states the limitations of the report. <br /> Appendix A presents the project organization chart. <br /> Appendix B presents the Community Profile. <br /> Appendix C presents a site-specific Health and Safety Plan. <br /> Two documents prepared by ENVIRON, a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and a Phase II <br /> Site Investigation Report, were reviewed by GRI. These documents, completed in 2010, provide a <br /> records review, site background, and the sampling and analytical work completed to date. <br /> Information regarding the removal of wastes and site closure completed by Envirosery was also <br /> obtained and reviewed. A site reconnaissance was conducted by GRI on 6/13/14 during the project <br /> scoping meeting, <br /> 1.4 Site Description <br /> The central portion of the property is occupied by a large building. The front (northern side of the <br /> structure) contains an office area. The remaining building area (manufacturing area) contained a <br /> frame assembly area, maintenance shop, dip/coating line, and a waste water treatment area. A <br /> hazardous waste storage shed was located at the rear of the property.
