• Determining if a release of hazardous wastes/substances/materials has occurred at a site and <br /> delineating the general extent of the contamination. <br /> • Estimating what is the potential threat to public health and/or the environment posed by the <br /> site and providing an indicator of the relative risk. <br /> • Determining if an interim action is required to reduce existing or potential threat to public <br /> health or the environment. <br /> • Completing preliminary project scoping activities to determine data gaps and identify <br /> possible remedial action strategies to form the basis for development of a site strategy. <br /> • Providing the data and information to DTSC. <br /> • Assessing and providing for the informational needs of the community. <br /> 1.2 Project Organization <br /> A project organization chart is presented in Appendix A. The project team members and <br /> responsibilities for each member are as follows: <br /> DTSC Project Manager: Dean Wri hg t,P.G. <br /> Mr. Wright will manage the project on behalf of DTSC and review deliverables. He will act as <br /> liaison with the representatives of the site owner. <br /> Metalsa Structural Products (Project Coordinator contact): Raul Ragunton <br /> Mr. Ragunton will act as the project coordinator on behalf of Metalsa Structural Products and review <br /> and approve documents submitted to DTSC. <br /> Project Facilitator: Jim Miille <br /> Mr.Miille will act as the liaison with DTSC for all project elements and documents. <br /> GRI Project Manager: ger Dockter P.G. <br /> Mr. Dockter will coordinate and manage various tasks to be completed for the project including <br /> workplan preparation, field activities, and reporting. He will develop sampling strategy, perform <br /> analytical evaluation, and provide technical oversight of field activities. He will work closely with <br /> Mr. Miille to insure that scheduling, notifications, and deliverables are submitted to DTSC per the <br /> project schedule. He will also serve as site safety officer during field activities. <br /> GRI field staff. Jim Pavick, field technician <br /> Mr. Pavick will conduct field sampling with the environmental drilling subcontractor. <br /> Environmental Control Associates (ECA): Drilling subcontractor.
